What is ionCube?
The ionCube system allows PHP scripts to be encoded, usually by a commercial company to protect its scripts from unauthorised copying or disassembly. Some entire web platforms and some add-ons for open source platforms run on ionCube-encoded scripts.
How easy is ionCube to set up and use?
As a user of ionCube-encoded software, it's very straightforward when your hosting company has pre-enabled it on your account. Just install the software in the same way that you would for other PHP files, then run it as usual.
Does Enbecom web hosting support ionCube?

Make sure that you choose the correct PHP version for your site's PHP-based software to run on, for example 7.2, 7.3 or 7.4. ionCube-encoded software can require specific PHP versions in order to work.
