We’re pleased to announce some improvements to your Enbecom Webmail experience, which will be with you in the next few weeks.
At the moment, when you first log to the webmail system you are asked to choose one of three software applications to manage your email, contacts and calendars.
You probably use the same application every time. You are currently able to set your preferred webmail application to auto-load, so it opens automatically without you having to click anything. Great, but you still have to wait for the countdown to finish before your preferred application auto-loads.
Soon, when you log in you’ll be presented with the screen above – ‘Choose a Default Webmail Application’. It will look like the image above.
Improvement 1: once you’ve chosen your default webmail application – just once – it will open every time, as soon as you’ve logged in. No more waiting!
“But what if I change my mind? And that webmail application choice screen gives me access to other important settings!” we hear you say. Don’t worry, this is getting smarter too.
Improvement 2: a handy menu at the top of your webmail application, to switch webmail application and adjust settings.
It’s there all the time, and in it you’ll be able to switch application and adjust your key settings.
(Note: the exact options in the menu will vary depending on hosting package and account settings)
These improvements will be rolled out as soon as possible, although we don’t have an exact date just yet. We hope you find them useful, speeding up access to your email and getting smarter about managing your accounts.
